Another Timeshare Scam
A recent TV Station news report described a scam worked by a company that lured timeshare owners with a mail ad that read, “Now making immediate offers to timeshare owners who want to sell.”
Actually, once owners met with the scammer, they learned the offer was really for owners to deed their timeshare to the scammer in addition to paying the scammer $3,500.

Thanks for sharing. People should think twice or use search engine sites like Scam Search to prevent things like this.
People should really be careful because there are a lot of predators lurking out there ready to take advantage of us. Especially those timeshare owners who are desperate to sell their shares.
I own a timeshare and if ever there will come a time when I would want to sell it then I would personally sell it to people I know. And if I can't find a buyer, I would apply for Timeshare Relief. They're an organization who will take the timeshare out of your ownership and that's it! Cool, eh?
I myself had been involved with a company such as this a while back. They sold resale services to owners for thousands of dollars and never did a thing to fulfill the agreement. I became so good at it (unfortunately) that I quickly got bumped into management and got to see how things worked behind the curtain. I was not impressed with what I found, but it was a paycheck and I did it. I did however learn all of the ins and outs of the timeshare resale business. About a year ago, I was really down and out, unemployed and not very happy with myself. I attributed the bad luck to all the wrong I had done to people as I believe in karma heavily. With a background in writing and graphic design, I decided I was going to help people get their money back from timeshare resale companies that scam their clients. So I posted a website http://www.TimeshareOwnerAdvocates.com with a free guide on how to get your money back. I hope people read it, and it helps, because karma is a pain. :) Good luck to all.
Yes, it is better to sell your timeshare property to people you know. But in reality, it's very to get someone interested in your timeshare property especially with this current economic condition that we have.
You cannot also blame the timeshare owners who were victimized of these scams. They are just people wanting to cut their irrelevant and usually increasing expenses due to owning a timeshare.
